The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2024 will officially be inducted on Aug. 3. With less than a month until the annual event in Canton, Ohio, we’re examining which players — past and present — on the league’s 32 teams we think will one day receive the honor. Still, he should bolster his case if he keeps making Pro Bowls and wins Defensive Player of the Year at some point. Adams seems to flourish regardless of quarterback. In his first eight seasons with Green Bay, the 31-year-old wideout played with Aaron Rodgers — a four-time MVP — catching 73 touchdown passes and earning two first-team All-Pro nods. He has remained productive since Green Bay traded him to the Raiders in 2022. In two seasons with the club, he has 203 receptions for 2,660 yards and 22 TD catches. Keep in mind Vegas has rotated through multiple starting QBs during this span, including Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo and Aidan O’Connell. Clearly, Adams is a transcendent playmaker, and he should keep climbing the all-time receiving TDs list. If he finishes with five TD catches this upcoming season, he would tie HOF WRs Tim Brown and Steve Largent (100) for the ninth most in league history. Mack was traded to the Chicago Bears in 2018 and is now with the Los Angeles Chargers, but some of his best years came with the Raiders. In four seasons with the team, he made first-team All-Pro twice and won 2016 DPOY. The 33-year-old edge-rusher has rarely played for a contender, which could hurt his case. In 10 seasons, Mack has never made a Super Bowl and only suited up in four playoff games. During his tenure with the Raiders, they only made the postseason once. However, Mack’s lack of postseason success shouldn’t count against him. He’s a member of the HOF’s All-2010s Team and ranks seventh among active players in sacks (101.5).
